"Every gang needs someone to blame."
Larry Kenney voiced Lion-O and Jackalman, which means the hero and the snivelling coward arguing across the room were the same man. Jackalman spent the entire run scheming to replace Slithe as leader of the Mutants and never once managed it. LJN's 1985 figure has the ruddy jackal head, the black bandolier and the yellow chest, club still in hand. The Battle-Matic lever gives him the swing he never landed on screen.
