How Backorder / Special Order Items Work
What are back orders and special orders?
- These are items that we do not have in stock, but we can order them from our supplier for you.
Who can place back orders and special orders?
- Back orders are available to all of our customers. Special order items for Premium Collectibles are only available to Irish, UK & EU customers
When will I receive my back order or special order
- It depends on the type of back order and the supplier. There are two types of back orders:
- Type 1: These are items that need to be ordered by the 15th of each month. They will arrive by the end of the month and payment is due in full when you place the order.
- Type 2: These are items that we can order anytime, as long as the stock is available. Payment is taken within 24 hours after we confirm the stock. They will arrive within 1 month, generally.
- We will email you an estimated arrival date, but it is not guaranteed.
Can I combine back orders and special orders with in-stock items?
- Yes, if they are all ready to ship within 30 days. Otherwise, you will have to pay separate shipping fees.
How much is the shipping cost?
- Free within the Republic of Ireland if you spend €75 or more and all items are in stock. Otherwise, shipping fees apply. For International orders, our checkout will show you the cost based on your order weight and your location.
Can I cancel my back order or special order?
- No, unless the supplier cannot fulfill your order. If you cancel, you will lose your deposit. For some premium collectibles, a deposit is required when you place the order. This will show on the product page. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. You can read the full terms and conditions and the refunds and returns policies here.
How Pre Orders Work
What are pre orders?
- These are orders for products that are not yet available for purchase, but have a future release date. There are two types of pre orders:
- Type 1: These are pre orders where full payment is charged upfront when you place the order. These are usually for products that have a reliable release date and low cancellation rate.
- Type 2: These are pre orders where payment is due upon release. These are usually for products that have a high cancellation or delay rate from the manufacturer. You will be charged when the item arrives with our supplier and we will message you two days in advance to let you know the item is released and payment will be automatically taken within 48 hours of the message. Please note if you do not pay within 48 hours of the payment email being sent, your order will be automatically cancelled and your item will be made available to other customers.
Who can place pre orders?
- Only customers in Ireland, Australia, UK and the EU. We do not accept orders from outside these locations.
When will I receive my pre order?
- It depends on the product and the manufacturer. You can check the product listing for the latest estimated arrival date, but it is not guaranteed. We will email you when the item is ready to ship.
Can I combine pre orders?
- Yes, if they have the same release date and shipping cost. Otherwise, you will have to order them separately. We will refund any overpayment of shipping fees, if the pre order items arrive in stock at the same time and can be shipped together. All items that cost €75 or more qualify for free shipping within the Republic of Ireland.
- However, please note that our pre-order system only allows you to add and buy one pre-order item to your cart at a time. This is because different collectibles may have different release dates and shipping costs. We recognise that this is not ideal when you want to pre-order multiple items. So you can drop us a message and we can create the order for you, saving you time and effort.
Can I use payment plans for pre orders?
- Yes, if a single pre order item is €79.99 or more, the payment plan option will appear automatically and allow you to order the item. You will have to pay a deposit and the remaining balance will be divided into monthly installments. Payment plans are not eligible for pre-order discounts.
Can I combine pre orders with back orders and in-stock items?
- Yes, if they are all ready to ship within 30 days. Otherwise, you will have to pay separate shipping fees.

Can I cancel my pre order?
- No, unless the manufacturer cannot fulfill your order. If you cancel, you will lose your deposit. The deposit is refundable only if the manufacturer cannot fulfill your order.
- If you have a type 2 pre order, where payment is due upon release, you can cancel your pre order without charge within 48 hours of receiving our message that the item is released and payment will be taken. After 48 hours, the payment will be processed and you will not be able to cancel.
