What Are Payment Plans?

We offer interest-free payment plans that allow you to spread the cost of building your collection over a number of payments to customers within the Republic of Ireland.

We do not charge interest on these payment plans but you will forfeit your deposit should you chose to cancel your plan.

All items within your order on which a Payment Plan is created will ship once your plan is paid in full & the items have arrived in stock. We do not ship partial orders.

Pre Order & Special order discounts are not available on payment plans.

Payment Plans are not available to customers outside of the Republic of Ireland. Any orders received using this option for non-Republic of Ireland customers will have their order cancelled & any funds received refunded.

By using the payment plan option, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions outlined below.

1. Non-Refundable Deposit Payments

Some expensive or custom items may require a non-refundable deposit. This deposit is due at the time of placing your order. We then use your deposit to secure the item from our supplier, so we need to be really sure that you are committed to buying the item. 

Payment Plans cost us money to set up & administer. When you take out a payment plan, it is under the agreement that you will complete the sale & we hold the items for you, so other customers can not purchase them. When you cancel the plan without fulfilling your end of the agreement, your deposit will cover the costs that we have incurred to date in the curation of your plan.

If you cancel your order, you will forfeit your deposit or if you paid the amount in full upfront, a % of the paid in full amount. This % is based on the min deposit required to start a payment plan. 

This policy applies to Special Order & Back Order items & orders where a Payment Plan is requested.

You will have to agree to and pay the Non-Refundable Deposit to place your order.

Exceptions

Sometimes a manufacturer is unable to fulfil all their pre-orders. When this happens they cancel some of the orders. If you have made a deposit or any payment on an item that is cancelled by the manufacturer, we will refund you in full.  Alternatively, if you choose, you can transfer the balance of funds off another item in our store. 

Payment plans which split your order into payments of 50% now & 50% within 14 days, are eligible for a refund upon cancellation request. 

We reserve the right to refuse to offer Payment Plans to customers who consistently cancel their plans or fail to keep up with their regular repayments. 

2. Dispute of terms: 24-hour grace period

If you disagree with the terms of this agreement, then you may cancel, without penalty, within 24 hours of placing your order. Simply drop us a message via email using our Contact Us form or directly to info@uncannycollectibles.com

Your deposit will be refunded to the original form of payment automatically if cancelled within 24 hours of the order being placed. 

3. Permission to charge the payment method on file

By using the payment plan option, you are agreeing to allow Uncanny Collectibles to process your payment method for the Euro amounts on the schedule that you have selected. If the payment method expires or lacks the necessary funds during your plan, it is your responsibility to update it prior to the next payment or risk order cancellation and fees.

We do not store your card details. These are stored securely by Stripe or by PayPal on their secure PCI compliant servers.

4. Amendments to Payment Schedule

Payment Plans are available on a weekly, fortnightly & monthly basis.

We can amend the dates that your payment is due to be collected/paid. Simply drop us a message via email using our Contact Us form or directly to info@uncannycollectibles.com

5. Missed Payments

We are happy to make amendments within reason to accommodate your repayments. You will receive payment reminder emails 7 days, 3 days & 1 day before your payment is scheduled to be deducted from your nominated payment source.

When you miss a scheduled payment, you will receive an email reminder & Stripe / Paypal will retry taking the payment again.

If you miss it again, you will receive another email from us. Please contact us in advance if you need to reschedule your payments.

Failure to engage with us about your payment plan will result in your plan being cancelled, you will forfeit your deposit and the payment plan option will cease to be available on any of your future orders.

6.  Chargebacks and PayPal disputes

Uncanny Collectibles is as transparent as possible with regard to the payment plan program. We also offer a 24 hour grace period, in which you can review these terms again and cancel without penalty. 

After each payment, you will receive a customer statement showing all the payments you have made to date & the total balance outstanding. This will be emailed to you with 48 hours of receipt of payment.

Credit card companies submitting a dispute, or chargeback, to Uncanny Collectibles on behalf of you / the collector for any payment plan cancellation fees incurred after the grace period will be given a copy of this agreement, as well as documentation of our check out process illustrating your acceptance of these terms, via the collector required action of selecting a check box. The information that will be provided illustrates a contract that you created with Uncanny Collectibles and generally results in a dismissal of the dispute.

Please keep in mind that we will be unable to confirm any new orders for you until all chargebacks (both pending & processing) are resolved.

We reserve the right to cancel all future orders & terminate our relationship with you as a buyer, should you submit Multiple chargebacks.

7.  Uncanny Collectibles can update the terms of this agreement at will.
