  • Your location. We only accept collections from Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Send us this info on any of the following channels:

A general rule of thumb for asking if we take items: If it’s related to movies, TV shows, video games, or comic books, we’ll take a look. If it’s not related to that topic, it’s outside our niche and we won’t look at it.

  • We are not accepting the following items right now:

    • Items that are too common, oversaturated, or outdated. These items have low demand and resale value. Examples of these items are Beanie Babies, Funkos, VHS tapes, Records, Dandy, Beano or pre-2010 2000 AD Comics, and Wrestling figures.
    • Items that are too hard to authenticate, grade, or pack. These items have high risk of damage, loss, or fraud. Examples of these items are Trading cards, Opened pre-built Lego sets, and Fake or faulty collectibles/items.
    • Items that are not suitable for our market or niche. These items have low demand and resale value. Examples of these items are Soft toys/toddler toys, Sideshow / Hot Toys statues (non horror), and Anime figures and statues.

Our toy recycling program is a service that allows you to donate your broken toys and their parts / accessories / clothes, etc. to us. We will then get them into the hands of collectors who are missing parts for their items, toy photographers and toy customizers. This way, you can declutter your collection, help the environment by keeping them out of landfill and make other collectors happy.

What kind of items do you accept for donation?: You can donate the following items:

  • Old small diecast vehicles. These are metal or plastic toy cars, trucks, buses, etc. that are no longer in use or in good condition.
  • Loose toy accessories or clothes. These are items that belong to or complement other toys, such as weapons, helmets, hats, shoes, etc. that are missing or broken.
  • Broken action figures. These are toys that represent characters from movies, TV shows, video games, or comic books, such as superheroes, villains, robots, etc. that are damaged or incomplete.
  • Board game parts. These are items that are part of a board game, such as cards, dice, tokens, pieces, etc. that are lost or broken.

Tell us what kind of items you want to donate. We’ll review your request and let you know if we can accept your items and how to pack and ship them to us. We’ll also send you a pre-paid shipping label that you can use to send your items for free or provide you with a drop off address.

Why do you offer this service?: We do not buy these items, we are simply offering this service to help recycle items that may end up in landfill when a fellow collector may be able to give it a new lease of life. We believe that every toy deserves a second chance, and that by donating your items, you are contributing to a more sustainable and enjoyable hobby.

We don’t offer this service for free, due to the amount of time it takes to research each item.

You can do it for free yourself by following the steps  our blog

  • Use the steps in our blog to do your own research. You can learn how to identify the make, model, and edition of your items, and how to compare them with similar ones on the market.
  • Be aware of false impressions from YouTube and TikTok videos that do not show the true cost of selling. Some videos may exaggerate the prices or omit the fees and taxes involved in selling collectibles online or offline.
  • Use eBay sold listings, items must match the same condition and model. eBay is a popular platform for buying and selling collectibles, and you can use the sold listings filter to see the actual prices that people paid for the items you have. Make sure to compare the items that match the same condition and model as yours, as these factors can affect the value significantly.
  • Be realistic and flexible about your expectations, not everything is worth a lot of money. The value of collectibles depends on many factors, such as rarity, demand, and condition. Some items may be more valuable than others, and some may not be worth much at all. Don’t be disappointed if your items are not as valuable as you hoped, or be willing to negotiate if you want to sell them faster.

That’s a good question. The answer depends on your preferences, goals, and expectations. Here are some pros and cons of selling your collection to us or selling it yourself:

Selling to us

Pros:

  • You save time and effort. You don’t have to research, list, or ship your items individually. We’ll handle everything for you, from valuation to payment.
  • You get a fair and fast deal. We’ll offer you a competitive price based on the market value and condition of your items.
  • You enjoy free and secure shipping. We’ll provide you with a pre-paid shipping label and a tracking number. You don’t have to worry about any extra costs or risks.

Cons:

  • You may get a lower price than selling yourself. We have to factor in our overhead costs, such as storage, processing, and marketing. We also have to make a profit to sustain our business. Therefore, we may not be able to match the highest prices that you could get by selling yourself.

Selling yourself

Pros:

  • You have more control and flexibility. You can choose how, when, and where to sell your items. You can set your own prices and negotiate with buyers. You can also keep your items until you find the best deal.
  • You may get a higher price than selling to us. You can take advantage of the demand and popularity of your items. You can also appeal to collectors and enthusiasts who may be willing to pay more for rare or unique items.

Cons:

  • You spend more time and effort. You have to research, list, and ship your items individually. You also have to deal with buyers, feedback, and disputes. This can be time-consuming and stressful, especially if you have a large or diverse collection.
  • You incur more costs and risks. You have to pay for listing fees, shipping fees, and taxes. You also have to ensure that your items are packed safely and securely. You may face issues such as lost, damaged, or returned items, or non-paying or fraudulent buyers.
  • We base our prices on the following factors:

    • Our experience of selling similar items
    • The average eBay sold listings for each item
    • The costs and risks of reselling each item
    • The current market demand and economic conditions

We offer up to 1/3 of the average resale market value price, depending on the condition of the item. This is fair and competitive, considering the work and costs involved in reselling.

  • We do not use eBay asking prices or Funko Price Guides for valuations, as they are not reliable indicators of the actual value of your item. We only use the sold listings, as they reflect the real market value.

  • Some customers overestimate value due to personal feelings or misleading prices
  • We price items based on experience, average eBay sold listings, costs and risks of reselling, and market demand and conditions
  • We offer up to 1/3 of the average resale market value price, depending on condition
  • We do not use eBay asking prices or Funko Price Guides, as they are not reliable
  • We only use sold listings, as they reflect real market value

We process buyout and trade-in requests on the weekends. We will reply as soon as we can, but the time may vary depending on your collection size and information you have provided.

To speed up the process, please do the following:

  • Send us clear images, lists, or videos of your items. The quicker we can identify the make, model and condition of each item, the quicker you get a response.
  • Tell us your expected price and location. This will help us determine if we can make a deal or not.

Our buying offer is valid for 7 business days from the date we agreed to buy or trade in your collection. Items must be packaged up and shipped to us within this period too. Our offer will expire at the end of the 7th business day.

Yes, once we have a agreed a price for your collectio, you can book an appointment in our Showroom to drop your items off and get paid.

No, you can’t. Here are the reasons why:

  • We need time to research your items to give you a fair price. For older collectibles, more research is required and we are not able to do this on the spot.
  • You may have items that we will not take and we don’t want you to make a wasted trip. For example, we do not take items that are badly damaged, counterfeits or even WWE figures.
  • We only process and research buy out requests at the weekends. This means that if you leave your items with us to be evaluated, you will have to wait until the next weekend to get our offer.
  • It may take longer if you show up unexpectedly and we are already processing other buy out requests. At which point your request will be placed into a queue.

We always advise that you contact us by phone, email, or social media beforehand to make sure that you have items that we will buy. You can reach us by any of the methods listed below:

  • If you send clear images of your collection before shipping, it will reduce the chances of your items being rejected.
  • Once your items arrive, they will be inspected and tested to ensure they are in good working condition. If any items are found to be faulty or not as described, they will be returned to you.
  • You will be responsible for paying for the return shipping, and you will receive an invoice for this cost. If you do not pay for the return shipping within 7 days, or if the items are not collected within 7 days, they may be recycled or donated to charity.

When we receive and verify all the items are present and in their described condition we can pay you via:

  • Paypal (Goods & Services method)
  • Revolut
  • Cash on collection
  • AIB bank transfer

We’ll contact you to confirm we have received your shipment. Depending on the number of items within it, it can take up to 1 week for us to inspect and test each item. Once approved, the payments will be issued within 1 business day. You can choose your preferred payment method, such as PayPal, bank transfer, or cash.
